Services

IT for the whole office, not just the helpdesk ticket.

KLD Support covers the same ground a local MSP should: day-to-day support, the network, email and cloud, backups, phones, cameras, and the security work that keeps a small office from becoming an easy target. Remote when it is faster. On-site when it has to be.

Managed IT

Ongoing care for the computers, network, and accounts a small office depends on. Patching, a regular look at backups, and a named person who already knows the environment when something is off.

Fully managed if you want us to own it. Co-managed if you already have someone in-house and just need extra hands. We will say which is which after a conversation.

Help desk support

Printers, logins, slow PCs, shared drives that vanished, and the other interruptions that stop a workday. Diagnose, fix, and tell you if the same issue will come back without a deeper change.

Remote first. On-site when the machine will not boot or the problem is in the closet. This is a local practice, not a 24/7 global desk. If after-hours coverage is part of what you need, say so up front.

Cybersecurity

Most small-business incidents are still ordinary: a guessed password, an unpatched machine, a mailbox without MFA, or a backup that had not run in months. The work is turning those off.

MFA, timely updates, malware protection, sensible access, and backups you can restore. We do not sell fear, and we do not staff a security operations center.

Cloud services

Move the right workloads off a box in the closet: file storage, Microsoft 365, and the apps people already work in. Setup, migration, and the admin so it stays usable as the office grows.

Cloud is a tool, not a slogan. If a local server is still the right fit, we will say that.

Email

Microsoft 365 and business email that actually arrives. Mailbox setup and migrations, shared mailboxes and calendars, spam filtering, and the admin work that piles up: aliases, forwarding, MFA, and “why did this meeting land in the wrong place.”

Email should be boring. If it is not, that is usually a configuration problem.

VoIP phone systems

Business phones that run on the network instead of a closet full of analog hardware. New systems, replacements for aging PBX, and the day-to-day work of extensions, auto-attendants, and “why is this call dropping.”

We will look at the internet circuit and Wi-Fi before we promise crystal-clear calls. Phones are only as good as the network under them.

Security cameras

Office and shop-floor cameras: camera choice, placement, recording, and remote viewing that the owner can actually use. New installs and rescue jobs where the last vendor left a DVR nobody can log into.

Cameras are only useful if the footage is there when you need it. Storage, retention, and a working password are part of the job.

Backup & disaster recovery

A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a plan. We set up or review backups for files, email, and workstations or servers, then test that a restore actually works.

If a PC dies, a mailbox is emptied, or ransomware encrypts a share, you should know what comes back, how long it takes, and what will not. We will not invent a recovery time we cannot meet.

Networks, Wi-Fi, and VPN

Office Wi-Fi that covers the rooms people actually sit in, wired network setup and cleanup, and VPN so people can work from home without leaving the office wide open.

Dead zones, guest networks mixed with the office LAN, and “it works in the front and dies in the back” are the usual jobs. We fix the layout, not just turn the power cycle into a billable hour.

On-site and remote support

Most issues can be handled remotely. Some cannot: new hardware, a closet that needs a switch, cameras on a wall, or a machine that will not boot. We work both ways for businesses across the tri-state area.

If you are outside that area and remote-only is enough, say so. If you need standing on-site coverage every week, say that too.

Not sure which of these you need?

Write a few sentences about your setup and what is in the way. We will answer with a recommendation, or with a clear no if we are not the right firm.
